Dr. Milad Heidari
Background:
Dr. Milad Heidari has been working as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Global College of Engineering and Technology since November 2019. Dr. Milad Heidari received his Masters (2011) and Ph.D. (2016) degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He served as a postdoctoral scholar at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) for a year. He researched the areas are fatigue crack growth and the design of elbow prosthesis. He has published more than 20 papers in refereed journals and conference proceedings.
Dr. Milad Heidari has over 6 years of teaching experience to the students of undergraduate and postgraduate levels at different universities and colleges. He has taught different modules across the field of Mechanical Engineering including Mechanics of Materials, Stress Analysis, Machine Design, Vibrational Dynamics, Computational Methods, Continuum Mechanics, Technical Drawing, Foundation Mechanics, and Engineering Mathematics. He has supervised more than 30 postgraduates and 50 undergraduate students in Mechanical Engineering. Since he joined GCET, he taught a few courses in Mechanical Engineering including Stress Analysis, Vibrational Dynamics, Computational Methods, Engineering Mathematics, Stress & Dynamics, and Foundation Mechanics. He is the coordinator of the final year project and quality officer in the Mechanical Engineering department.
