\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The Global College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) has a key role in the Cybersecurity research and education in the Sultanate of Oman. GCET Cyber is a team of academics at GCET aspiring to work for Cybersecurity. The group is actively engaged in various areas related to Cybersecurity, Cyber Physical Systems, Data Science and Cybersecurity, Wire\/Wireless Security, Mobile and Embedded Devices, High Performance Computers security, Cloud and Grid Computing Security and Digital Forensics. GCET Cyber is active in teaching, research, industrial engagement, and outreach. Key members of the group are involved in the delivery of BSc (Hons) Computer Security and Forensics which is a unique programme in the Sultanate of Oman. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0As collaboration is the key factor in research, GCET Cyber is active in extending its network to collaborate with both academia and industry. GCET Cyber\u00a0<\/strong>is in active research collaboration with Network and Communication Technology Laboratory (NCT), Cybersecurity Center, Faculty of Information Science and Technology, The National University of Malaysia. Several researches in IPv6 security, IoT security, Blockchain, cloud data security, and AODV security conducted between NCT and GCET cyber. Within the industry, GCET Cyber is in \u00a0partnership with EC-Council, one of the world\u2019s leading body in Cybersecurity. One of the aim of this industrial collaboration is to have GCET Cyber Taskforce as advisory and consultancy body for the government and private sectors in the Cybersecurity related
