\nDr. Amjed received the degree of B.Sc. (Hon) in computer science from The Future University-Sudan in 2005. He pursued his master degree in Information Technology (Computer Science) from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2013 and Ph.D. in Computer Science with Network and Communication Technology Laboratory, Centre of Cybersecurity, Faculty of Information Science and Technology, from the same university in 2018. He was a Teaching Assistant with The Future University since 2005, then joined China National Petroleum Corporation – Sudan Branch in the capacity of Network Engineer in 2008. He was Lecturer with Faculty of Information and Commination Technology, Limkokwing University, Malaysia from 2017-2019. Currently, he is a Senior Lecturer and Director of Research and Innovation at the Global College of Engineering and Technology, Oman. He holds industrial certificates of MCT, MCP, MCSA, CCNA, CCNP and SCEss. He is a reviewer with IEEE Access Journal, Journal of Computer Science, International Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering, International Journal of Communication Systems and Information Security Journal: A Global Perspective. He is EBM in International Journal of Electric Power Science Development and Insight-Electronics, Insight \u2013 Electronic Journal (EBM and Lead Guest Editor), International Journal of Advance and Applied Sciences (Associate Editor), and International Journal of Informatics and Communication Technology. He is a member of Conference Program Committee and TPC, and of several international conferences.
\nDr. Amjed was the Head of Communication and Network Research Group (CNRG), Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (FICT), Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Cyberjaya, Malaysia, from November 2017 \u2013 November 2018. He was also a Graduate Research Assistant, Network and Communication Technology Lab (NCT), Centre for Cyber Security, Faculty of Information Science & Technology (FTSM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Bangi Malaysia, from September 2013 \u2013 March 2017. Dr. Amjed is Member of IET and a Senior Member of IEEE.<\/p>\n

Research interests:
\nComputer Networks, Data Communication Protocols, IPv6 security, IoT6, Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics, Cyber Physical Systems, Deception Technologies, Blockchain, Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics.
