IEEE International Conference on Sustainable Engineering and Digital Innovation (ICSEDI\u201926)<\/strong><\/h2>\n

GCET proudly hosted the IEEE International Conference on Sustainable Engineering and Digital Innovation (ICSEDI\u201926) at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC). The event brought together international researchers, industry experts, and academics to explore sustainable engineering, digital innovation, and emerging technologies.<\/p>\n

The conference featured keynote sessions, workshops, and interactive discussions, providing a platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and showcasing GCET\u2019s research excellence.<\/p>\n

GCET Hosts \u201cShoot\u201d Startup Weekend: Oman\u2019s First Sports-Tech Hackathon<\/h4>\n

The Startup Weekend is a globally recognized event that brings together entrepreneurs, developers, and creatives for an intensive 54-hour experience to transform ideas into viable projects.<\/p>\n

In this special edition, the Global College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) hosts the event in collaboration with leading universities and academic institutions across Oman, reflecting a strong spirit of innovation and partnership.<\/p>\n

Branded as \u201cShoot\u201d, this edition focuses on sports technology and public health, aligning with the goals of Oman Vision 2040 to enhance quality of life.<\/p>\n

The Research and Innovation Office (RIO) at the Global College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) organized a workshop on the Block Funding Program (BFP), delivered by Mr. Abdullah Alsulaimi from the Research and Innovation Authority (RIA).<\/p>\n

The workshop introduced participants to the BFP, highlighting funding opportunities, application processes, and key requirements. Attendees also gained practical insights into preparing successful research proposals.<\/p>\n
