  1. Prepare students to undertake and successfully complete Higher Education programmes in Engineering.<\/li>\n
  2. Develop critical thinking and autonomous learning by improving study skills. It also aims to build students\u2019 English proficiency to facilitate study of subjects at undergraduate level.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The General Foundation Programme is a combination of General English, English for Academic Purposes, Study Skills, and subject-specific modules in subject areas relevant to Engineering and Technology (Mathematics, IT, Physics and Further ICT).[\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”Main Features” font_container=”tag:h4|text_align:left” use_theme_fonts=”yes” css=”.vc_custom_1593547996015{margin-bottom: 10px !important;padding-top: 30px !important;}”][vc_column_text]\n

    1. Interactivity where most of the delivery is based on group interactions led by the tutor.<\/li>\n
    2. The support provided to students outside scheduled classes. These include Math Support Centre, English Support Centre, English Club, English Debate Competition, English Spelling Competition, Self E-Assessment and Academic Advising.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
