Moreover, it gives a strong knowledge of technological progression in architecture, and where it sits within the history of architecture. The student can also become familiar with the different architectural and design concepts and study modern construction techniques applied to different projects. Field trips are also made to visit and assess buildings that inspire and inform the students’ designs of different types of buildings. This program is taught by professors with extensive experience in architecture and working on realistic projects in real-life studios in well-equipped studios. One of the main distinctive features of this program is that you will get a British award from the University of the West of England, Bristol, UK, (recognised worldwide) while studying in Muscat.[\/vc_column_text][\/toggle][toggle color=”Extra-Color-1″ title=”What you will be studying?”][vc_column_text css=””]Several modules are studied enabling students to understand the stages of Architectural Design, Construction Technology and Services as well as building Science. Throughout the study, the student will discover design concepts through studio work and computer modelling and develop technologies from basic scientific principles. Build on techniques learned in the first year, practising and applying all aspects of design to a range of building problems. In the final year, the student will combine the range of knowledge with large-scale building projects and produce detailed appraisals and new build design solutions.
